Dead Pixel Test
- 01
Start on white and scan the panel in small sections. A persistent black dot may be a dead pixel, but dust can look similar.
- 02
Switch to black, red, green and blue. A dot that stays bright or remains one color may be stuck; compare its position across every color.
- 03
Move the pointer away so the controls disappear. Record a persistent fault and consult the display maker’s pixel policy. This tool does not repair pixels.
